Grant and Mirjum’s Wedding

A couple weekends ago, I was able to attend Grant and Mirjum’s wedding. A few days before the wedding, Mirjum let me know that they were moving the wedding location down the road from her family’s property to the local church. A back-up reservation her mom had made months prior. With the rain and the grooms injured foot, the venue change provided the perfect location for their wedding day!

They were married by Mirjum’s father. There were a few brief pauses during the ceremony when you could tell that he was struck with emotion in giving away his daughter. Even Grant and Mirjum’s children were overcome with joy and tears during and after the ceremony. What a precious moment to be a part of!

After the ceremony, we stepped outside for their portraits under the covered awning before heading back inside for the cake cutting and a cozy celebration. Even with the last-minute changes, the day was full of laughter and joy, reflecting exactly who Grant and Mirjum are as a couple.

My hope is that these images will always take them back to that special day! Congratulations Grant and Mirjum!
