Alex and Jordyn’s Wedding

Alex and Jordyn’s wedding was this last weekend at the Mount Pisgah Arboretum. All weddings are beautiful in their own way, but Alex and Jordyn’s wedding felt straight from a magazine! Every detail was carefully thought out and was brought to life with the help of their friends and family.

As soon as I arrived, I could tell that this was going to be a great day. The bride and her bridesmaids were all so calm and relaxed while they were getting ready. Matter of fact, they were pretty much all ready once I arrived! We had fun with their PJ photos (see below) and I even had a chance to capture a few detail shots.

The ceremony was heartfelt. They were married by their pastor Barry from Northwood Christian Church. Everyone sat under this giant oak tree that the sun was peeking through. It made for nice shade on a warm summer day. It also helped that it was a beautiful backdrop for their photos!

After the ceremony was complete and they were officially husband and wife, it was time to celebrate! And this group knew how to celebrate! From their funny toasts at the beginning of the reception clear through to the end of the evening when their ties were hanging from their foreheads, their friends did not disappoint! Alex and Jordyn danced almost the entire night with their friends and family as well. There was even a train at one point. What a blast!

It goes without saying that this really was a great day. Not just because all the details came together so nicely, but because of all the joy and celebration that came with Alex and Jordyn’s union. They really are perfect for each other!
