Connor and Samantha’s Wedding

High above the valley, Connor and Samantha were married at the beautiful Mount Tom House, a historic home with an incredible backstory you can read more about here. My mom and I had the honor of photographing their intimate wedding day, surrounded by their closest family and friends. From the moment we arrived, there was a calm and peaceful feeling in the air that carried throughout the day.

Connor greeted us at the door, already dressed and ready, his excitement quiet but steady. When we went to check in on Samantha, she had lost her voice the night before and could only whisper. Without even realizing it, everyone around her began to speak softly too, creating the most serene and gentle getting-ready atmosphere. Samantha’s friends helped her get ready and her mom helped her slip into her dress.

When it came time for the first look, Samantha’s bridesmaids helped carry her dress down the path to meet Connor. The moment he saw her, he couldn’t hold back his tears. It was beautiful and raw—exactly the kind of emotion I love capturing. A few minutes later, Samantha and Connor shared a touching first look with her dad before they made their way to the ceremony site.

The rain cleared just in time. Samantha’s father not only walked her down the aisle but also officiated the ceremony. With her voice still gone, Connor lovingly read both his vows and hers, making the moment even more heartfelt. Friends and family teared up as they witnessed the two of them joining together as one.

The evening concluded with a warm and cozy dinner inside. Connor and Samantha were able to share a table with all their friends and family. The closeness of the reception was full of love and adoration for the couple. By the time my mom and I left, we both felt like we had become part of the family as well. It really was an incredible way to celebrate their day. Congratulations to one of the sweetest couples, Connor and Samantha! We pray that your marriage is blessed and that you enjoy many years of laughter together.
