Last weekend, we had the privilege of photographing Davey and Elise’s wedding at the Flour Mill in Spokane, Washington. Travis and I arrived in Spokane the day before, just missing a light dusting of snow from the prior evening. Despite the cold, the wedding day was a sunny, heartwarming celebration.
The Flour Mill, an industrial-chic venue nestled alongside the Spokane River, provided a picturesque backdrop for the event. Its rustic charm, with exposed brick walls and unique architecture, set the stage for a day filled with love and emotion.
The wedding was particularly poignant due to the recent loss of Elise’s youngest sister. Her absence hung heavy, but the day was a testament to love’s resilience. It was a heartfelt celebration, a reminder that love can prevail, even in times of sorrow.
The ceremony was a deeply moving experience, with the presence of God felt by all as Davey and Elise exchanged their vows. The emotional connections between the couple and their guests were palpable.
The reception that followed was a joyous affair, with the dance floor alive with the celebration of Davey and Elise’s union. Laughter and love filled the air as friends and family came together to make the day truly unforgettable.
Davey and Elise’s wedding was a powerful reminder that love conquers all. It was a day to remember, and the photos we captured will forever reflect their enduring love and the support they have from their loved ones. We wish them a lifetime filled with love, happiness, and countless celebrations of their beautiful union.
Congratulations Davey and Elise!
